The news of Christian's passing is incredibly shocking. At the KTH SCS department, I always observed him to be a person of energy and vitality. It's a huge loss for his family and the academic community alike.

I just found out that Cristian had passed and i am saddened and chocked by the news. Christian supervised my Master Thesis in 2006 and he gave me all the support i needed and so much good advice. He was the one that really sparked my interest in Computer Science with his course in concurrent programming, and doing so he has had a major impact on my carreer. I am grateful that I got to meet Christian, he was so friendly and supportive and such a good teacher!
