Forever in our hearts and always in our thoughts So sorry for your loss Marianne was a very special person in our lives. Not only did she generously let two complete strangers, who could not speak her language, stay in her ”liten hus” but she included us immediately in her life. We have so many happy, joyful and funfilled memories. We are heartbroken she is no longer here! Lovely memories of Marianne, how we sat outside her mother’s weaving shed as she taught us svensk (’war so god o’ doppa) how glad we were when she came with Gun to England and we showed them around, how it did not disturb her when the well ran dry so we took water from Scanraff. We took a really funny foto with our bowlegs. One time, an elk blocked her in the cellar! Another time we flew with our bicycles but the airport had changed to Landvetter so it was dark and wet but Marianne helped us put all our wet clothes on the line to dry in no time. Yes Marianne is the reason we always say Sweden is our favourite country that we lived in. Anni & Steve

Marianne blev alltid glad när vi kom och hälsade på, men gladast blev hon när Morris var med. Vi drack kaffe i köket och sedan en stund på hennes älskade balkong för titt på utsikt och räkna båtar. Hon var alltid pigg och glad. Hon ville klara sig själv, men sommaren 2025 märktes det tydligt en försämring i hälsa och förmåga. Vi tror att hon fick en bra tid på Fiskebäckshemmet. Det märktes att hon trivdes och hon var väldigt omtyckt av personalen. Det känns bra att hon fick sin sista tid där. Vi kommer att sakna henne mycket.
